Future Steps
- Improve the capability to merge the experiences of the Members in order to build up research projects in partnership to be presented for funding to international organisations, including the European Union
- Create partnerships with other distance education international networks, in order to share and disseminate research results, equipment and facilities and to joint organized conferences, thematic workshops and joint lectures
- Increase the efficiency of communication and interaction among the regional representatives in order to develop a network of qualified experts in different scientific fields
- Implement networking for higher education capacity building, in particular in the developing countries
- Improve quality standards for use and application of digital technologies in different fields of knowledge
- Establishing common guidelines for an e-University cooperation model of excellence within a cross-cultural context overcoming physical barriers and socio-political constraints
