Prof. Alessandra Briganti
Full Professor of "Modern and contemporary Italian literature" – University of Rome "La Sapienza". Since 1992, she has also been teaching at the Faculty of Arts in the Third University of Rome, where she has also been Professor of "Theory of communication".
In the period between 1993 and 1996, she was also Professor of "Theory of mass communication" at the Faculty of Foreign Languages in the University of Naples "L’Orientale". From 1985 to 1998, she was the leader of the Inter-university Centre of "Theory and History of Literary Genres", based at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
Upon request of the Science of Education Department (Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, University of Rome "La Sapienza"), she designed and managed the curricula studiorum with the methodology of distance education (FAD), with a special focus on research and development of training and professional refreshment curricula in the field of post-graduate education and lifelong learning.
She was a member of the Managing Board of CIRPS (Inter-university Centre of Research for Developing Countries - i.e. "Centro Interuniversitario di Ricerca per i Paesi in via di Sviluppo"), based at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
From 1989 to 1992: Coordinator of the Commission for Counselling at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", promoting several organizational and research actions.
She was the Director of the e-learning post-graduate specialization courses on Didactics of disciplines, aimed at training trainers, organized at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and at the Third University of Rome.
She was a member of the Board of Directors at the Association for the Quality in Training, established by consortia, enterprises and operators being involved in vocational training for enterprises.
Member of the Governing Body of ISICT (Superior Institute of Technologies of Information and Communication Studies, i.e. “Istituto Superiore di Studi in Tecnologie dell’Informazione e della Comunicazione”) of the University of Genoa.
She has been appointed by the italian Ministri for Foreign Affairs as Italian representative
at the European Training Foudantion Managing Board.
She was the Director of the Quarterly Review "IAD-Istruzione A Distanza" (i.e. Distance Education) published by Tecnodid.
She is the Director of the series "Il testo ritrovato" ( “The recovered text”) published by Franco Angeli.
She is the Director of the international scientific journal “FormaMente” published by Università Telematica “Guglielmo Marconi”.
Collaborator of RAI (Italian Radio TV) for several cultural broadcastings.
Collaborator of “Enciclopedia italiana”, “Dizionario Biografico degli italiani” of Enciclopedia italiana, and “Dizionario biografico delle Donne Italiane” edited by the Italian Ministry for Equal Opportunities.
Author of several essays related to different fields of the educational and didactical research.
